Hyderabad Has challenge to Build INDIA’S Second RRTS Rail Network
554 crores, this is the amount which will connect the capital Hyderabad of Telangana State with all the important regions of this state within one hour and this will be possible because TRDA has been unveiled by the Telangana Government which is the first of its kind in the country for Delhi Meerut RRTS. Later the second unannounced and properly known plan was a rapid build of the rail system, although after the construction of Delhi RRTS, there was talk of building RRTS in Mumbai. Nitin Category Zola Plans were also announced in Nagpur but we did not get to see the on-ground designs etc. but here
This plan has not been safely unveiled by the Chief Minister and IT Minister of the Telangana Government but a lot of details have been given like the speed of the trains that will run here will be 180 km per hour, there will be grade lines, and from where. How the lines will run, how many corridors there will be, everything has been talked about but before that let us talk about this rapid transit system being built around Hyderabad. Let us first understand what was the need of RRTS and why it is different from Metro and Railways. Generally, when a big city is built, then the surrounding areas are like this.
Cities develop over a distance of 50, 60, and 100 km, which is very important because of their economic dependence on the city, that is, there are many people like this, many businesses like this, zones travel between cities, and there is the movement of goods. Hence people depend either on railways or on highways. To travel between these cities, what happens here is that gradually the connectivity within these cities increases its necessity. Now, friends, it is a rule all over the world that no matter how many highways we build. Take
Still, because of that, the issue of traffic congestion is not going to be solved, it leads to a further increase in pollution and gradually the congestion increases to such an extent that it takes more time for the people and we get to see the same thing. Within Delhi NCR, which is its prime example, Delhi and Meerut are two such cities where lakhs of people travel every day. Despite having expressways, congestion is seen here but even the metro cannot be built here because the metro is available at very limited places. It can maintain its speed well because generally, the stations of metros
They are at a distance of 1.25 km. Despite their lines being in standard gauge, in most cases, they are not built at grade i.e. ground level but are built above the deck. The systems inside them are very different. There are different types of transport and hence there is a need for an alternative that is not just a highway but also a railway. No, but not as small as Metro, and this is where the Rapid Transit System or Rapid Transit Train or RRT systems come in between, this is what will be implemented within Telangana also, here as per the plan, Hyderabad City.
In the future, metro lines are also being built from the ring road built around it, due to this it will happen that the entire ring road of Poo Pura will bring metro connectivity from interior Hyderabad because the rest of the metro lines already exist and then this was done. It will be said that nine corridors will emerge from ring road which will run to different regions of Telangana State.
What are these nine corridors?
They must be thinking that the first line will be the line going to Karimnagar, the second will be the line going to Fungal, and the third line will be the line going to Kamm, in which there will be a split inside Naket Palli.
The canal here will go till Gunda, after that the next line will be till Mehboob Nagar, the next line after this will be till Vikarabad, after that the sixth line will be towards Zaheer Hyderabad and the seventh line will be towards Vikarabad. This line will also be split into two sections where one line will go to Med and the next line will go to Nizamabad. Due to this, all these railways will be connected to the Hyderabad Outer Ring Road and later the connectivity with the metro will take one hour between the shares. All distances can be covered in between and even if you do not want to go to Hyderabad and you have to go directly to
If you want to go from one line to another, then the maximum time that will be taken will be 3 hours. Now talking about the details, here these will be grade levels, that is, basically here the maximum line instead of wires is made above the ground only. Here is the current estimator of total lines of 792 km and the cost taken for this project. It will cost Rs 70 to 75 crore per kilometer. Just like the RT system being built currently, the stations here will become vital towns, road junctions, assisting railway stations and will connect many regions by becoming a multimodal hub where
But people do interchange while traveling from one place to another. The traveling will be comfortable and reliable and not like the Indian Railways or the Highways and that is why this is a big thing because it will enable Hyderabad and Telangana state to be connected as one overall. To become a big economy, we have seen within China which is the area from Shenzhen to Wang It started developing like an independent city, the inner cities disappear in between, so much urbanization increases, the same thing increases the potential here too and this is the thing about the country being formed from Hyderabad.
