What do I wear for different types of Massages?

For all massage types, loose and breathable clothes like cotton pants or yoga wear allow easy movement and promote deep relaxation.

 1. Comfort Beats Everything: Choose Loose Clothing

A Swedish massage usually requires you to undress to your comfort level.

2. Swedish Massage: Minimal Clothing or Undergarments

For deep tissue work, minimal clothing or just underwear allows better access to muscles and the free use of therapeutic oils.

3. Deep Tissue Massage: Less Is More

Shorts and a tank top or sports bra are ideal—these let the therapist work on targeted muscle groups while keeping you comfortable.

4. Sports Massage: Flexible Athletic Wear

Thai massage involves stretching and movement-Wear stretchable, loose clothes such as T-shirts and yoga pants

5. Thai Massage: Full Coverage, Maximum Movement

Most hot stone massages are best enjoyed with little to no clothing, as the stones are placed directly on the skin.

6. Hot Stone Massage: Bare Skin, Draped Protection

For reflexology, wear loose pants or shorts. The therapist will need easy access to your feet and lower legs.

 7. Reflexology Massage: Loose Pants or Shorts

Opt for thin, soft fabrics—light layers are easy to shed or add, maximizing comfort while matching the calming vibe.

8. Aromatherapy or Relaxation Massage: Light Layers

Remove all jewelry, belts, and hair ties before getting on the table—unnecessary accessories can distract both you and the therapist.

9. Always Skip Jewelry and Accessories

Always undress to your comfort level and communicate with the therapist if you’re unsure—your comfort, safety, and relaxation come first.

10. Spa Rules: Undress To Your Comfort & Ask If Unsure
